MSN Canada was featuring a story about a historical Stanley Cup match back in 1950’s. The story mentioned the inefficiencies regarding the wooden goalie masks. They made sight difficult, and according to this match, the goalie of one team refused to wear his mask, and took a pretty serious shot in the face from the puck. I worked on a team of three to build this accompanying Shockwave game, with file size limiting us to less than 100K. My role with drawing the different poses of the players allowed me to color the jerseys reflective of the two opposing teams, although it escapes me who the two teams were…
Any ideas? If you decide to play the game, the objective is basically to score three goals per level and achieve a "hat trick". The simplicity of the game is also reflective of not a full hockey game, but more of a shootout scenario.
