| During the spring of 1998, Eddie Bauer promoted Microsoft's golf game by giving away special nine hole versions of the CD-ROM. When an Eddie Bauer shopper purchased $75 or more worth of merchandise, they would get the game for free. In working with the cover, I simply used the existing package design, modifying it to reflect the special promotion. The solution was re-building the golf ball image into a 3D model, and mapping the Eddie Bauer logo to the sphere. The product was distributed in the jewel case format. |
